[SOLVED] Point Maxi to an external server? 7 Months ago
Under "General Settings" how do I direct the player to play mp3's from another site. It's presently set to "audio" which will play files from the folder, but we have limited server space and would like to play the files from another site.

Is this possible?

Also, any plans for a popup player?

Prescott,

Thanks for the post.

We'll add this functionality to the next release. Expect an update by Monday.

Prescott,

We have added the requested feature to the module.

Please download v2.5 or higher and install the same way as before.

NOTE: When you enter the URL to the external server folder, do so like this:
"h t t p : // w w w . m y d o m a i n . c o m / m u s i c"

Notice there is no slash after "music". This is important.

Feel free to post again if you require further assistance. If you feel we helped satisfactorily, please write us a review in the Joomla Extensions Directory.

Thanks!
